I have been super lucky during this pandemic. I have been able to keep myself busy despite the lack of travel going on.
There is still money coming in and *gasp* new business.
But what I’m doing right now won’t necessarily cost you a dime. So here’s a round up of how I’m helping you and your business get through all of this craziness:
Free Tourism Information
If you are in the Ohio tourism industry, we have a Facebook group where I’m sharing resources as I find them to help you manage what is going on. Other leaders from across the state are sharing their tactics and their marketing wins as they have them as well. It’s a great place to feel like you’re not alone while also staying up-to-date.
And for members of that Facebook group, I am doing a weekly “Coffee Talk.” This is a free opportunity to chat with someone that is a leader in public relations/marketing and/or tourism. It’s thirty minutes to ask any question you have and get real feedback to move your company forward.
I am now booking guests for July for our “Coffee Talk.” If you are interested in chatting with us about a particular skill or a project you are proud of, you can fill out this form, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
One of the most important things you can do right now is take care of yourself so you can take care of others. It’s really hard to do when terrible news is coming at you from all sides, but if you don’t, everything can get even worse.
Because of that, I decided to do the Level 1 iRest teacher training and am giving my first class on May 25. It’s a pay-what-you-want class, so if you don’t have the funds, no worries. This can be free for you as well.
I am also offering pay-what-you-want crochet classes as well. Crochet is a fantastic form of mindfulness. First off, you can easily string up wins that can help you feel accomplished. But also, the repetitive nature of the craft can be extremely calming. Just contact me, and we can schedule a class.
It may not be in your budget to hire me to do your social media right now, but there are other ways you can work with me.
Trainings: Are you having trouble getting your social media to be responsive to today’s reality? Or do you want to take the time to take your social media to the next level so you are ready to get your customers back? Let’s hop onto Zoom together! Prices are dependent on the topic, but this is definitely the cheapest ways for us to work together right now.
Coaching: This is a bit different than a training. We meet weekly for an hour, you will have weekly homework assignments, and I will look over your weekly social media plan to give you suggestions. It’s very personalized to meet you where you are and go at your pace. Clients that choose this option usually stay with me for two months, but we can spend more time together if needed.
We can also get creative. Just contact me with what you are facing right now and your budget, and I can create a package that would best suit you. As you can tell from above, there is no such thing as too little budget if you are willing to learn and have some fun.
